A Quick Summer Update

Sorry to bug you in the holidays but there's just a few bits I thought I'd let you know about quickly...

Firstly, the Facebook group for *next* year has now been set up, its http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=23495682577 so if you're coming back next year, please join up. We won't be using this group again but we'll leave it all set up so you can use it to stay in touch - all new communication will go through the new group. I'd like to think the Facebook group has worked well this term, and hopefully we'll have even more people take part in the next one.
That leads me on nicely to my second point, which is to let you know about a new anonymous comments form thats been set up on the website regarding JCR communication, its available at http://mildert.co.uk/emails
This term we changed things a bit with our e-mails, sending out regular bulletins and limiting the total number of e-mails sent, as well as establishing this group. I would really like to gague what people think about this before we decide what our policy will be next term. Has it worked well for you? Do you still know whats going on around college? Do you need more reminders of things or are you enjoying a more streamlined inbox? Are we sending out too much through Facebook events? Would you like to opt-out of some types of e-mail? If you have views on any of this please let us know via the website, as usual your comments are anonymous so don't hold back.
