Scratch what I said last time about interview season, one interview and I’m done! Machester offered me a place after interview, I returned home only to find an offer from Durham had arrived in the post.
Now, the tough bit, which do I want to go to? Beautiful, open, quiet, peaceful Durham; or crowded, smelly, red-brick Manchester?
I finally remembered to move from hoary to breezy, in doing so broke php leaving it serving all my php scripts as plain text, including passwords for the mysql server etc. Thanks to Shish I became aware of the problem two days later, and had it fixed (thanks Shish) - which was by no means simple.
University interview season has begun; projects on hold or delayed until that all clears up I’m afraid.
After a long break, iTunes2MSN went beta today, just now in fact… Any feedback on this is greatly appreciated, and a final version should be around sometime, probably not all that soon (shall I say Christmas, I’m plucking that date from nowhere…)
Uptime is gone, I rebooted it to get my new KVM gear working
