OK, So I'm Curious...
Christmas is a time for giving and for receiving, a time for being with one's friends and family - So I do wonder why I still got 120 hits to the website that day...
I don't mean to offend, but surely everyone has better things to do on Christmas Day than browse my website? Its stupid, but this really bugged me so I decided to nose around and see exactly what people were upto on this site.
Of the 120 hits, 52 were from nasty, evil robots trying to attack me with things like POST /xmlsrv/xmlrpc.php , no seasonal cheer from these lot. 7 were from Yahoo Slurp - I can forgive those. 5 were automated hits to my rss feed from Shish. 6 were hits to my avatar on Mess.be [What are people doing there on Christmas Day?].
By my maths that leaves 50 hits, which come from 5 visitors. So, that's not as bad as the 120 hits I saw originally, but its still 5 people who need something better to do for Christmas!
